June 2014 Craftwar Entry - Big Al's Spells & More

  

 

The Basic Structure

The Base is made from Cardboard, as are the walls, the Floor boards are Card stock Strips. The Furniture was all made from Balsa Wood. The Doors are Card board with sand for Texture, the Door Ring Handles are little metal Jewelry rings from the craft store.

     

 The Cloth on some of the furniture is Paper towel Soaked in a little Craft paint and water and squeezed out, let it dry for about five minutes and then place on it want get color every were but you can move it around a fair bit. The Scrolls are just paper Rolled up, the Books are all pop sticks cut then covered in colored Card Paper, the Chests are carved from balsa and the Potion bottles are just bits and pieces from Jewelry crafting section i got at their craft sale.

   

The Magic carpets are just Materiel rolled up with  Little white Glue. The Weapons , Helms , Shields and Figure are all Reaper.

 

For The Scrolls on the Table i just printed Something in the Smallest Text i Could and Cut them up, FYI it actually is info in the Sagas of Ragnar Lodbrok , not very magical but i had it there :)
